Apple has unveiled a new 3G version of its popular iPhone - and it will be cheaper to buy than ever.
The new 3G iPhone is thinner than its predecessor and will also run on the 3G mobile phone network. Users will be able to surf the internet at faster speeds than is currently possible on the original iPhone, which uses slower Edge technology. It will also feature built-in GPS technology, which will enable users to use their iPhone as a satellite-navigation device both in-car and on-foot using.
The white version of iPhone 3G.
Image. Image quality will be slightly faster than the previous.
Applications. The previous one was unable to use 3rd party applications. The new one will come with its own application store to download applications in compliance with it.
GPS. GPS will also be a part of it.
Push Email. The old one is nothing compares to blackberry. With the new one, you can use push email just the same as your blackberry (i.e address book, emails, calendars, etc).
Cloud Computing. The device will also make its debut on cloud computing. Meaning you will be able to access your photo or files on the internet and synchronize it using Mobile Me.
Pricing. The previous one cost you about US$ 400 and the new one will cost you ONLY US$ 199 for the 8GB memory.
Steve Jobs launched iPhone on Apple WWDC (9 June 2008)
Looking forward to its grand launching on July 11, 2008 in these 22 countries.

And here are the remaining 48 countries which will have iPhone delivered later this year.
Sadly, Indonesia won't be one of these countries. This time and only this time, I can't wait to be a part of the crowd holding the new 3G iPhone.

to be honest, i am in no interest to have one since many will. it's like Nokia when it took over Ericsson domination in the mid of 90's. Be in the crowd, and be dissapointed. Now, even samsung and LG are better in technology than iPhone.
mmm ... it smell something fishy, and i see something kinky & sexy .. ^_^ .., look at iPod touch in here, that's cost for IDR.3,8 Mio (approx to $.398) .. yuuumm...
Usually I am not a mainstream person and very rarely go with the crowd. But this time and only this time I'd like to be able to feel and utilize a product so carefully thought and designed by the digital messiah himself.
I consider iPhone as a magnificent beauty. A product is not simply a good product because it contains dozens of features. A magnificent product can differentiate itself with others.
Apple rises from the death after long and extensive research over what the customers want. And particularly famous for thinking ahead of its customers. They think FOR their customers. Only one thing to describe this... pure genius and probably pure greed too... hehehe
If I'm allowed to quote from Michael Douglas (in Wall Street) ....."Greed is good"
